Crochet Roundup – Winter Version

February 17, 2015, In: Creativity, Crochet

I love working with yarn! I learned to crochet over 10 years ago while recuperating from pneumonia. My very first project was a granny square, which eventually turned into a granny square blanket! Since then I’ve made countless blankets, in fact I’m working on one now! However, my favorite items to crochet are hats, scarves and mittens! Inspired by the arctic cold temperatures we’ve been experiencing here in the Northeast and my love of crochet, I put together a crochet roundup of items that you can make to help keep you and your loved ones warm.

This cowl pattern by Peoples Web is a favorite of mine! I made one for my daughter last Christmas and much to both our surprise she had made the same thing for me!

These boot cuffs by Dabbles and Babbles are quick, easy and best of all reversible! What a great way to keep the snow out of the top of your boots and look cute too!

I love these chunky fingerless gloves by crejjtion. Perfect for wearing around the house when you need that extra layer on a chilly morning.

I don’t know about you but a slouchy hat is a must for me in the winter! This “Puffy Stitch” Beanie by Hopeful Honey is so pretty, I love the texture and the fact that it doesn’t have too much “slouch” to it!

And since we wouldn’t want to forget the men in our lives, the Hombre Scarf by Good Knits has a modern yet classic look sure to please any man.

Keep warm and happy crocheting!

Salute, Sharleen
