Did you start your Christmas shopping yet? Yeah, me neither. But I did put this handy list together to help you find the perfect gift for the designer in your life.
To shop for a designer, you need to know a few things. First, they love typography. Stick an ampersand on anything and they’ll eat it up! Seriously, how cute are the typography pillow covers by RoomCraft?!
How about this ‘clampersand’ by Hand-Eye Supply! I’m not sure what I need to clamp, but I would find something if I had a clap that was an ampersand that was called a clampersand.
The other thing designer love besides typography is color. More specifically, Pantone color! Since designers tend to drink a lot of coffee, a Pantone coffee mug would be a welcomed gift.
The designer’s brain is always going and they like to carry around note pads so they have something handy when inspiration strikes. You could go with a traditional moleskine pad which are very cool. But if you want to be super cool, give field notes. Field Notes are the creative genius of Aaron Draplin of Draplin Design Company along with Coudal Partners right here in Chicago!
Make your gift complete with this moleskine cover by Just Wanderlust on Etsy. Perfect for your designer’s note pad, pen and phone!
