DIY Heirloom Pumpkin Centerpiece

October 23, 2014, In: DIY, Entertaining, Floral, Holiday Decorating, How-to

This nature inspired centerpiece is quick and easy to make and will be sure to impress your guests!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 heirloom pumpkin
  • 1 deer antler
  • 1 large air plant
  • 2 medium sized faux succulents
  • floral pins
  • moss

Begin by fixing the moss to the top of the pumpkin with floral pins. I used five pins in various spots around the moss.

Then I used a couple more floral pins to attach the deer antler to the top of the pumpkin.

Continue in the same manner using the floral pins to attach the large air plant and faux succulents.

I placed my finished pumpkin centerpiece on a wood slice to protect my table, but this is optional.

To water the air plant, simply spritz with water once a week. You could also use real succulents if you prefer or a variety of different air plants.

Salute, Sharleen

Pretty! I love to see white pumpkins in decorating – they look so classy. Succulents seem to be trendy right now and I’ve been meaning to try some. And that deer antler – unique touch.
