National Grandparents Day is September 13th and we’ve got you covered with this Grandparents Day Free Printable Card! On Monday we shared a free wall art printable.
Grandparents Day is celebrated the first Sunday after Labor Day.
A little history about National Grandparents Day: in 1970, Marian McQuade from West Virginia wanted to bring awareness to the loneliness of the elderly in nursing homes and also encourage grandchildren to tap into their grandparents’ wisdom and heritage. In 1978, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed National Grandparents Day would be celebrated the first Sunday after Labor Day. Marian McQuade herself had 40 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren!

I designed this card last year for my Etsy shop. I decided to make it available this year for free! It’s available in two color combinations. Orange and Red or Pink and Orange.
Download the free wall art printable I posted on Monday and frame. It’s the perfect gift for the grandparents you love!
Enjoy and happy Grandparents Day!
I have this artwork in my Society6 shop. You can get it on a t-shirt, throw pillow, tote bag and more!
