Root Beer Float for Dad

June 19, 2015, In: Cocktails, Father's Day

Yesterday I showed you how to make an etched mug for dad. Today, I’m going to share a recipe for an adult version of a root beer float to fill dad’s mug!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 ounce Blackmaker Liqueur
  • shot of Rum Chata
  • vanilla icecream
  • 12 ounces root beer fountain soda

Pour the Blackmaker Liqueur, Rum Chata and half the bottle of root beer into your “World’s Best Pop” mug and stir. Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream and top off with the remaining root beer.

Don’t forget to add a decorative straw before serving and be sure to download “The World’s Best Pop Root Beer Float” label to finish off your root beer bottles for a great presentation when gifting to dad.

Salute, Sharleen
