Although hyperthyroid myopathy is not inherited, there appears to be a genetic predisposition to autoimmune diseases. Oh yes!! Go for boodtest to to chef deficiency like vit D ,bit B12 calcium and magnesium. I have been diagnosed with possible hypothyroidism.
