Earlier this week, I showed you how to make quick and easy floral straw toppers for your summer outdoor entertaining. Today I’m going to share another quick and easy outdoor entertaining idea, infused water! There is nothing more refreshing on a hot day than an ice cold glass of water. But let’s be honest, water can be a bit boring. Not anymore, just add a little fruit and water just got a whole lot more interesting!

With strawberries in season, I figured I’d create two recipes both using strawberries as the base. The first, Strawberry Basil is an interesting combination of just that, strawberries and basil! I know it sounds a bit strange, but trust me on this, it’s delicious. The second is a combination of strawberries, lemon, lime, orange and mint, also delicious!

Simple gather your ingredients, slice your lime, lemon and orange into very thin slices, chop the strawberries and snip your basil and mint leaves off the stem, gently rub the leaves to release the oils and flavor.
Start by filling your container about 1/3 full with ice. Then add your fruit and herbs to about 3/4 full. One container will be just strawberries and basil, the other will be strawberries, orange, lemon, lime and mint. Add water to both containers and let sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to mix.

Don’t forget to add these cute labels Denise designed for you. Simply download them for free here, print, cut and attach with a little string. Quick, easy and refreshing summer entertaining!

Salute!!!
